Who We Are

At KidStart, children are introduced to phonics, basic Irish language and partake in concerts and plays for parents. They enjoy singing, rhymes, stories, play doh, clay, colouring, painting, music, dance, learning concepts of colour and number.

Parents are kept informed through monthly newsletters and individual parent/teacher meetings at mutually agreeable times. Children’s creativity portfolios and photo CD compilations help encourage conversation between children and parents at home, promoting language development and enhancing the child’s self-image. All our staff are committed to the well-being and happiness of each child.

Our Philosophy

Children’s happiness in their first ‘out of home’ environment is of paramount importance to their overall well-being.

Once they are comfortable in their new surroundings, they form friendships with their peers and develop social skills through playing, learning and even eating together.

Children are encouraged to explore, think and problem solve and develop a respect for one another and their environment. As their identity and sense of belonging in their pre-school environment develops, children become more open to learning. We are here to nurture them and you, every step of the way.
